Supporting the Indo-Pacific Health Security Alliance

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, more than 50% of the world's countries utilised their armed forces in some way to support their national response efforts. The Indo-Pacific Health Security Alliance is a new initiative and platform to support increased collaboration between sectors with the aim of improving the region's disease outbreak response capacities, and thereby strengthen global health security. I'm pleased to be able to support this initiative by serving as the facilitator for the meeting where regional partners will come together and agree on next steps.
